Art for the Ears

When I started singing and playing the guitar at 18, I immediately wrote songs. It was a welcome evolution from my French poetry years, and a good way to reconnect to my English roots. I taught myself by listening to singer-songwriters, at the heart of the splendid folk music revival. In my early twenties, I published a few albums under the alias EYYES and played some gigs here and there – then my shamanic practice took over for a while. Now in my mid-thirties, I am proud to release new songs as Gaia & the Gems, a cocreative solo project where I write the songs and invite friends to play and sing along. There will be YouTube acoustic sessions, then a first EP to be released in 2026. I've got dozens of songs under the hood, drawn from years of life experiences and vibrant inner metaphors. Can't wait to share them with you!
